Automatic Bill Payment

Automatic Clearing House (ACH) Bank Drafts

Custer Public Power District is excited to offer a simple, secure, and free way to pay your electric bill.

✔️ No more writing checks   ✔️ No more mailing delays   ✔️ No more missed due dates

How It Works

  • You will continue to receive your monthly billing statement.
    • The exact amount due will be clearly shown.
    • Your payment will be drafted on the 10th, 20th, or 30th or the next business day.
    • Your statement will display: “Bank Account will be Drafted on [date].”

This service is provided at no cost to you!

ACH Bank Draft Guidelines

  • Available to all monthly and seasonal accounts.
  • Complete and sign an ACH Authorization Form (A new authorization form is required for any accounts added after the original ACH enrollment.).
  • After submitting the form, make one final regular payment. The first billing acts as pre-authorization, and automatic drafts will begin with the second billing.
  • If a draft is returned for insufficient funds, ACH eligibility will be suspended for one year.
  • A new form is required if you change banks (this restarts the pre-authorization process).
  • Budget Billing customers are eligible for ACH payments.
  • For questions, call us at 308-872-2451.

  • Please have one of the following identifying numbers available to locate your account.
      • Account Number
      • Phone Number
  • E-Check payments will require a PIN number to be set up.
  • You will need to enter your credit or debit card information along with the amount being paid.
  • You will be prompted to confirm that you have agreed to pay a convenience fee of $3.95.
  • You will receive a confirmation number when the transaction is successful.

Why is the convenience fee required?
