System Communications Specialist
Custer Public Power District is seeking a full time System Communications Specialist. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of all CPPD communication systems including but not limited to SCADA, AMI, Broadband, AVL, high and low band radio communications, electronic systems, tower agreements, Interlocal agreements, point to point communications, sensors, security and other electronic and communication devices. Works with all departments to ensure data is shared, processed, and analyzed efficiently and effectively.
This position will report directly to the General Manager and is a non-union position. Working time will be split between an office environment and fieldwork with the base office being out of Broken Bow. The chosen candidate must maintain residency within 10 miles of the Broken Bow office to expediate after hours service.
Candidate must be a licensed electrician with experience in the electrical transmission and distribution systems.
